(From Clark Funeral Home)Kathryn “Kathi” Louise (Studdard) Stephens, 68, of Neosho, Missouri passed away January 10, 2025, in Joplin, Missouri of a sudden illness.
Kathi was born September 25, 1956, to the late Earnest and Velda Conner Studdard at Sale Memorial Hospital in Neosho. Kathi was a proud graduate of Neosho High School Class of 1974. On August 13, 1982, Kathi was united in marriage to Roy Clayton Stephens.
Kathi worked for United Fund of Neosho for 29 years, she was also employed at Factory Connection in Neosho and was an avid member of Neosho Saddle Club and a foster parent for over 30 years. She did extreme horse events and was active in 4H and loved her animals. She was an avid shopper.
Kathi will be fiercely remembered and dearly missed by her husband Roy Stephens of Neosho, Missouri; her daughters Mika (Stacy) Jack of Collinsville, Texas, Khrisi Humphrey of Neosho, Bekka Stephens (Enrique) of Neosho, Koda Swift (Phillip) of Neosho, grandchildren Mikal Jack of Texas, Blake (Makensey) Jack of Texas, Kolten Humphrey of Arkansas, Jade (Brenton) Humphrey, Raine Swift, and River Swift who is on the way. She is also survived by her 3 great-grandchildren, Lyvia Jack, Larsyn Jack and Kaselyn Jack.
In addition to her parents, Kathi is preceded in death by numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2025 from 5-7 pm at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Neosho, Missouri.
The family requests that contributions in Kathi’s name be made to Angel Wings Equine Rescue 6600 Lawrence 2137 Stotts City, Missouri 65756
The body has been taken for cremation.
