(From Derfelt Funeral Home)Claude Cleve Craig, age 86, passed away at 9:03 am, Sunday, February 9, 2025 at his home following an illness.
Claude was born December 19, 1938 in Webb City, Missouri. His parents were Rex Manvil and Edna Margaret (Johnson) Craig. Claude graduated from Baxter High School with the class of 1956. He then earned a Bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma Baptist University, Shawnee, OK.
He was a well-known minister throughout the area, serving as Interim Pastor at numerous churches in the Tri-States. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Riverton, KS. Claude actively ministered in area nursing homes. Claude worked as a claim worker for the social security administration in Miami, OK for many years.
He is survived by two sons, John Cleveland Craig, Baxter Springs, and Mark Wayne Craig, Joplin, MO.
