(From Clark Funeral Home)Kelly Coleen Hall, 62, Diamond, MO, died on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at home. She was born November 24, 1962 in Carthage, MO, to George “Darrell” Cooper and Betty Jo (Case) Cooper.
Kelly attended Diamond High School and graduated third in the Class of ‘81. She was an active band member and served as the drum majorette for the marching band.
Kelly married her high school sweetheart and one true love, Charles “Pete” John Hall, Jr., on August 7, 1981. During the first half of their marriage they lived in several states including Texas, Montana, Oklahoma, and Kansas before returning home in 2000. They eventually took over the family farm which they named Little Critters Farm to reflect Kelly’s love for her Highland cattle, miniature horses, miniature donkeys, Nigerian Dwarf goats, poultry, ducks, and her beloved exotic birds.
Kelly was a dedicated homemaker and animal lover. She was a selective breeder of Highland cattle from which she established her own registered fullblood herd. She was also an avid amateur genealogist who spent decades researching various families and meticulously canvassing and documenting old and forgotten cemeteries.
Kelly had a loving heart and was known for her passion for her family. Along with her husband, Pete, Kelly is survived by her son and pride and joy, Alexander Case Hall and wife, Morgan; brother, Bruce Curtis Cooper and wife, Cindy; sister in-law, Nancy Cooper; brother in law, Timothy Hall and wife, Robin; brother in-law, Samuel Hall and wife, Carri; sister in-law, Susan Hall; sister in-law, Lynda Hart; and many nieces and nephews.
Kelly was preceded in death by her parents, Darrell and Betty, and brother, Gary Dean Cooper.
