(From Clark Funeral Home)Margaret Ione Putsch Cazort was born July 7, 1925, in DeWitt, AR to Harry and Jessie Wood Putsch. She passed away May 31, 2025, in Joplin, MO. Margaret graduated from DeWitt High School in 1943.
She married Eugene "Jeep" Cazort on February 19, 1949. They were married for 21 wonderful years before his death in 1970.
Margaret worked as a bookkeeper for Pioneer Rice Mill, which later became Pillsbury and then Riceland, in DeWitt until her retirement. She was a lifelong member of DeWitt Methodist Church.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Ricky Cazort, and son-in-law Carroll Fox.
She is survived by her daughter Dana Cazort Fox, daughter-in-law Kathy Cazort, grandchildren Steven Cazort and husband Randy Standridge, Jill Fox Rogers and husband Kyle, Amy Cazort Fischer and husband Josh, and Justin Fox and wife Lindsey; great grandchildren Nathan and McKenzie Rogers, Kyleigh and Maddox Fischer, and Brynden and Taylor Fox, and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Thursday, June 5 at DeWitt Methodist Church with funeral services beginning at 11:00. Burial will follow in DeWitt Cemetery.
