Beauanna Bolton

Beauanna Jones Bolton, age 84, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 2:56 p.m. on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. She was born June 14, 1941, in Halltown, Missouri, the daughter of Marvin Simpson and Hildred Marie (Woody) Washam.

Beauanna was a 1960 graduate of Miller High School, in Miller, Missouri. She was a truck driver for most of her working career. Later she worked for Taco Palace in Mt. Vernon, Missouri, Casey’s in Miller, Missouri, Price Cutter in Aurora, Missouri and was a farmer’s wife. She never met a stranger, loved going to the Casinos, dancing, meeting her friends at McDonald's, and watching the Kansas City Chiefs.








Beauanna married Gary Keith Jones on May 21,1960 after 34 years of marriage he passed away on August 26, 1994. She married C.W. Bolton on July 9, 2004, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and he preceded her in death on September 22, 2024.

Beauanna is survived by her daughter, Sheila Garoutte and her husband, Bobby, of Aurora, Missouri; four grandchildren, Randon Jones and Tracy Jones, of Verona, Missouri, Rudy Garoutte and his wife, Jill, of Aurora, Missouri, Kayla Jones of Springfield, Missouri and Krissy Hartley and her husband, David, of Miller, Missouri; eight great-grandchildren, Kenzi, Khloe, Kiley, Addilynn, River, Jaycee, Christopher and Baylor; one sister, Norma (Ronnie) West of Mt. Vernon, Missouri and nieces and nephews; two stepsons and their families, James (Janice) Bolton and Charles (Ruth) Bolton all of Joplin, Missouri.

Beauanna was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin, and Hildred; her first husband, Gary; her second husband, C.W.; one son, Randall Jones; one sister, Vonda Washam and one brother, Jerrald Lee Washam.








A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon. Burial will follow at Miller Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025, in the funeral home chapel.
