(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)JoAnn Keeling, age 85, of Seneca, Missouri passed away Monday, September 29th, 2025 following a recent decline in health.
She was born August 8th, 1940 in Joplin, Missouri to Harold and Alberta (Roe) Norman.
JoAnn worked for a time with Shelter Insurance (MFA), but her most cherished role was being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, tending to her flowers, crafting, and sharing her talent for cooking-especially her well-loved orange cookies.
On July 3rd, 1965, JoAnn married Larry Keeling who preceded her in death on December 25th, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her son-in-law, Will Cook.
She is survived by her son, Greg Keeling (BJ) of Joplin, MO; her daughter Lori Cook of Seneca, MO; four grandchildren, Derek Keeling (Tawni), Morgan McDonald (Quintin), Courtney Vlasin (Lathan), and Alex Cook (Brooklyn), as well as five great-grandchildren with one on the way; two sisters Kim McMullen and Denise Dragoo (Steve); brothers-in-law John Keeling (Debbie), Jim Austin, sister-in-law Jannis Counts, Bill Keeling (Marty).
Those honoring her life as pallbearers will be Derek Keeling, Alex Cook, Lathan Vlasin, Justin McMullen, Jeremy McMullen, and Tim Dragoo.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd, at Mason-Woodard Mortuary from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 3rd, at 2:00 PM at Mason-Woodard Mortuary with burial to follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
