(From House-Goodwin Funeral Home)Clyde Lee Daniels, 72, of Sarcoxie, Missouri passed peacefully in his sleep, early Monday morning, November 17, 2025.
Clyde was born on Saturday December 27, 1952, in Carthage, Missouri to the late “C.V. and Wilma Daniels. He grew up in Sarcoxie attending the Sarcoxie Public Schools. While in school he participated in choir, basketball, football and track. He was a 1970 graduate of Sarcoxie High School. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Sarcoxie.
After graduation Clyde worked for H.E. Williams, Vickers and Pepsi. In late 1976 he started with Servomation. They later changed their name to Service America and then Canteen. In 1989 they transferred him to Nashville, Arkansas and in 1992 he was transferred to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Clyde returned home to Sarcoxie in 2005. After the death of his father, he worked for a lighting contractor where he set up lights displays and ceiling fans. He retired in 2014.
On November 21, 1980, he was united in marriage to Susan White, sharing forty-five years of wonderful memories. Clyde and Susan were very devoted workers on the Chief Sarcoxie Days Committee for several years.
Clyde is survived by his wife, Susan; children, Chassity Nunnally and husband, Gan and their children, Hannah, Trey and Grant, all of Bentonville, Arkansas, Chanda Corter and husband, Dennis of Rogers, Arkansas and Clyde J. “C.J.” and wife Crystal of Granby, Missouri and children, Eve, Ethan and Gwendolyn; three great-grandchildren, Raylynn Smith and Sutton Nunnally of Bentonville, Arkansas and Noah Hendricks of Forsythe, Missouri.
The family would like to thank the nurses and employees of Integrity Hospice and Home Health and the staff of Sarcoxie Heath Care Center. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Freedom Christian Fellowship Community Outreach in Sarcoxie, in care of the funeral home.
Funeral services for Clyde are 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2025, at Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home with pastors Levi Henry and Jim Law officiating. Interment will follow in Sarcoxie Cemetery. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Trey Nunnally, Grant Nunnally, Ethin Fabrizio, Gan Nunnally, Dennis Corter, and Mike Pettigrew. Honorary pallbearers will be Blaine Nordstrom, Craig Daugherty and Kevin Fry. Visitation will be from 12:00 -2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
