Lillian B. Williams, age 82, of Webb City, Mo. passed away on Thursday September 17, 2015 at 10:00 p.m. at Webb City Health and Rehab Center, following an illness.
Lillian was born on February 27, 1933 in Purdy, Mo. the daughter of the late Charles and Mammie (Taylor) Buchanan. She married Phil Williams on March 22, 1953 in Carl Jct., Mo., together they raised five children. For twenty-seven years she co-owned and operated Williams Garage. She also worked for Elders Manufacturing and Webb City High School in the cafeteria. She was a member of Central Christian Center.
Lillian is survived by her husband, Phil Williams, Webb City, Mo.; four daughters, Betsy Lee and husband Bob, Joplin, Carol Rader and her husband Gary, Phyllis Booth and Amos, Webb City, Mo., and Brittney Williams, Webb City, Mo.; three brothers, Jerry Moore, and Jeff Moore, both of Kansas City, Mo., and Raymond Moore; and two sisters, Vivian Moore and Pearl Moore; sixteen grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Phillip Williams, one brother, James Buchanan.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Pastor Doug Wilkerson will officiate. Burial will be in Waco Cemetery, Waco, Mo. The family will receive friends 3 to 4 pm. Sunday at the mortuary.
