Claudine C. Link, 96, of Rocky Comfort, Missouri went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at her daughter's residence in Neosho, Missouri.
She was born on March 2, 1920 in Stella, Missouri to the late, Lorenzo and Elma (Nicely) Patton. Claudine married the love of her life, Byron Cullers Link on February 2, 1942 in Washburn, Missouri. She enjoyed farming, gardening, flowers and was a St. Louis Cardinals fan. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren, always trying to attend all their many functions. Claudine was a dedicated member of the Crossroads Baptist Church in Longview, Missouri where she started attending at the age of 13.
Claudine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Byron Cullers Link on February 12, 1988; her children, Gayle Blevins Hoyt, Max Link; grandchild, Richard Link; three brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa McIlvaine and husband, David of Neosho, Missouri; two sister-in-laws, Betty Patton of Springdale, Arkansas, Kathleen McGarrah of Stella, Missouri; grandchildren, Annette Freytag, Angela Carney, Christy Garcia, Ashleigh Blevins, Emileigh McIlvaine, Stephen McIlvaine, Brittany Pendergraft, Jacob Pritchard, Brett Pendergraft, Dustin Carney, Vanessa Carney, Brandon Ada, Cassandra Garcia, Aiden Yoder, Evalynn Lehto; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Claudine.
Funeral services for Claudine Link will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes. Pastor Roger Morey will officiate. Burial will follow the service in the Macedonia cemetery in Stella, Missouri. Those honoring Claudine's, life by serving as pallbearers, David McIvaine, Stephen McIlvaine, Rob Pendergraft, Brandon Ada, Dustin Carney, Brian McIlvaine and Brett Pendergraft. Honorary pallbearers are Marvin Burnett, Virgil Carter, Jim Carter, William McIlvaine, Rob McFarland and David Garnett. Visitation will held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes. The family will receive friends at this time.
