Eula E. Stolldorf, age 96, of Joplin, Mo. a longtime Wymore, Nebraska resident, passed away at 8:10 a.m. Monday, August 7, 2017 at the home of her daughter in Joplin. Eula was born August 31, 1920 in Wymore, Nebraska and lived there until March, 2013 when she moved to Joplin to be with her daughter. Eula was a member of the Wymore Church of Christ where she was a member of the Christian Builders Sunday School Class, and the Mary’s Circle. She was also a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood.
Eula married Donald “Murray” Stolldorf August 6, 1941 in Beatrice, Nebraska. He preceded her in death on October 10, 2004. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Whitaker, and Elizabeth Martz, and three brothers, Walter, Dale, and Kenneth Humphreys. Survivors include a daughter, Joan Evans and husband John, Joplin, four granddaughters; Dr. Melinda Banister-Antilley and husband Zachary, Lubbock, Texas, Molly Williams, Joplin, Mo., Marci Burchfield and husband Michael, Carl Junction, Mo. and Megan Ford and husband Trey, Austin, Texas, and 7 great grandchildren; Alex and Andrew Banister, Samuel, Benjamin, Jonathan and Catherine Williams, and Adam Evans.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the Wymore, Nebraska Church of Christ with Clayton Lundstadt, Minister, officiating. Burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery in Wymore. Visitation will be from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Monday at the Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home in Wymore, Nebraska. Local arrangements were entrusted to the Mason-Woodard Mortuary of Joplin, Mo.
