Judith ‘Judy’ Ann Ramsay, age 80 of Neosho, entered into rest on Sept. 6, 2017 at her home in Neosho, following a lengthy illness. Judy was born Oct. 20, 1936 in Joplin, MO, the daughter of Donald and Lucille (Purkett) Timberman. She was a lifelong area resident of Joplin and Neosho and had worked as a surgical nurse at St. John’s until retirement. She was a member of the Missouri Nurses Association. She loved to be in her home and being with her family and attending their activities. Judy and Dr. Walter Hugh Ramsay, Jr. were married on Aug. 23, 1959 in Joplin and he survives. Additional survivors include three children, Craig Ramsay and wife, Penny of Neosho; Keith Ramsay and wife, Debbie of Neosho and Chris Ramsay and wife, Kim of Shell Knob; nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donald Edward Timberman.
Memorial Services for Judy will be held on Monday, Sept. 11, 2017 at 11:00 am at the First Congregational Church in Neosho, Rev. Tom Thorne will officiate. Contributions in memory of Judy may be made to the First Congregational Church, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66, Neosho, MO 64850.
