Jean Bryan, age 73, resident of Scammon, Kansas, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2017, at her home.
She was born April 3, 1944 in Joplin, to the late William McKinzie and Violet England McKinzie.
Jean married Mike Bryan, August 3, 1983 in Miami, Oklahoma, he survives of the home. She worked as a boiler operator for the Day & Zimmerman Ammunition Plant in Parsons, Kansas. Membership was held in the Lone Elm Pentecostal Church, Joplin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Kay Proffitt.
Survivors her husband, Mike, Scammon; four sons, Tom Proffitt, Joplin, Jack and Steve Proffitt, both of Scammon and Don Proffitt, and his wife Missy, Columbus, Kansas.
