Roy T. “Tim” Harris, age 55 of Diamond, Mo., passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Mo. following a sudden illness.
Tim was born May 24, 1962 in Neosho, Mo., the son of Roy E. and Annie K. (Byrd) Harris. He has been a lifetime area resident. Tim worked in assembly at La-Z-Boy Furniture. He loved spending his time with his many outdoor hobbies, such as bicycling, jogging, gardening, raising his chickens and many more.
He is survived by his brother; Rick Harris of Granby, Mo., a sister; Brenda Sloan and husband Fred of Carl Junction, Mo., two nephews; Aaron and Brent Sloan, a niece; Crystal Pierson and many loving great-nieces and nephews. Tim was preceded in death by his parents.
Private family services will be held.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
