Cheryl McFerron, age 72, of Carl Junction, Missouri, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017 following a decline in health.
She was born June 28, 1945, in Lawton, Kansas, to Albert and Alma (Morris) McFerron.
Cheryl grew up in Lawton and moved to Carl Junction in 1993.
She enjoyed volunteering at ARM and watching westerns. She was a member of the Carl Junction First Christian Church and was very involved with her church and church activities.
Cheryl is survived by two sisters, Marylyn King and husband, Charles, Joplin, Missouri, Jeannine Simpson, Carl Junction, Missouri, several nieces and nephews whom she loved very much, and a lifelong childhood friend, Mike Bankston.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at the Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home with Boyce Mouton officiating. Burial will follow at the Carl Junction Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of the Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home, Webb City, Missouri.
