Joan Garrett

(From Konantz Warden Funeral Home)

Joan (Griffith) Garrett was born in September 1940 to J.D. and Audrey Griffith. She was raised in Carthage, MO and graduated from Carthage High School.

In 1959 she married Stanley Garrett. Together they raised three children: Mike, Randy and Tresa. They were members of the Old Salem Church and Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, where Joan played the piano every Sunday morning. Music was a very big part of Joan's life. She gave piano lessons, accompanied many school solos and ensembles, as well as, played for countless weddings over the years.
