(From Clark Funeral Home)Kathryn ‘Katie’ L. Murray, 56, Neosho, entered into rest on Oct. 17, 2020 in Atlantic, Iowa. Katie was born May 29, 1964 in Independence, Missouri, to Delbert and Kathryn (Pogue) Stevenson.
She was a lifelong area resident and had worked as a fiber optic supervisor in the telecommunication industry. Katie enjoyed making people happy, her family, butterflies, giving and receiving hugs, helping people and volunteering at Faithful Friends.
Katie married Steven Allen Murray, Jr. on Feb. 21, 1982 in Granby and he survives.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Durfee and husband, Kevin of Neosho; Heather Murray and partner, Jeromy of Neosho; one brother, Bobby Stevenson of Springfield, three sisters, Debbie Gosvener and Laura Stevenson of Branson and Audrey Vermillion and husband, Jack of Granby; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild and her service dog, Teddy.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
