(From Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home)Barbara J. (Kerney-Stotts) Lofton, 81 went home to be with the Lord on February 2, 2021. Barbara was born August 2, 1939 in Lamar, Missouri to Willis Glenn and Iola Kerney.
Barbara graduated from Webb City High School class of 1957.
Barbara married Gary E. Stotts in 1956 in Reno, Nevada. They had two daughters, Marsha and Patricia. Barbara wed Donald E. Lofton in 1999 in Webb City, Missouri.
Barbara was employed by Elders Manufacturing for 30 years and by Cardinal Scale for 25 years, retiring at 74 years old.
Barbara enjoyed sewing, gardening, shopping, traveling, dancing and camping. She was lifelong fan of the Webb City Cardinals.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Gary Stotts and Donald Lofton; sister Marilyn Sanders and a brother Jonnie Kerney.
She is survived by daughters Marsha Phillips (Mark) and Patricia Naugle (Bob); three grandsons, Elijah Stotts (Charlotte), Philip Stotts (Bekah) and Richard Moore (Katie); six great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins and a special lifelong friend Nancy Silvey.
