Darlene Farmer

Katherine “Darlene” Farmer, age 64, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away at 11:17 a.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. She was born April 15, 1957, in Neosho, the daughter of Clyde and Vivian (Osborn) Renfro. 

On December 6, 1974, she married Merle Farmer in Neosho, Missouri. Darlene was a lifelong resident of Newton County, a Diamond First Baptist Church member, and was a homemaker. She loved to craft, attending craft shows, and most of all, her children and her grandchildren.

Those surviving her include her husband Merl of the home; mother, Vivian Buening of Seneca, Missouri; five children, Vanessa (Bryan) Anderson of Exeter, Missouri, Jeremiah (Angela) Farmer of Pierce City, Missouri, Jacqulyn Farmer, and Felicia (John) Barnett all of Neosho, and Clyde (Jamie) Farmer of Granby, Missouri; two brothers, Everett (Sandy) Renfro and Edward (Ruth) Renfro all of Seneca; 21 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous family members and friends.

Her father, Clyde Renfro, and daughter-in-law, Adrian, preceded her in death.
