(From Clark Funeral Home)Bobby Gene Saunders, age 82, of Neosho, Missouri, entered into rest at 3:43 p.m. on Monday, December 6, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born October 31, 1939, in Logan, West Virginia, the son of the late John and Cleo (Profit) Saunders.
On June 23, 1967, he married Joyce Boyer in Downey, California. Bobby was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, serving during the Vietnam Era. He worked for Neosho Box and Wood and was a member of the Abundant Life Church in Neosho.
He is survived by his wife Joyce, of the home; one son, John Saunders and his wife, Tammy, of Neosho; five grandchildren, Garrett, Adam, and Kaleigh Saunders, and Olivia and Hayden Houk; and one sister, Pauline “Faye” Vance of West Virginia.
Under the direction of the Clark Funeral Home, a private family graveside service will be held at New Salem Cemetery in Neosho.
