Eva Bozarth

Eva Doreen Bozarth, age 62, passed away at 5:27 am, Friday, January 28, 2022 at Oswego Health and Rehab, following an illness.

Eva was born November 3, 1959 in Clinton, OK. Her parents were James and Claudia (Williams) Edings. She had lived most of her life in Southeast Kansas, claiming Oswego as her home for over 30 years.

She worked as a nurse aide in Home Health Care. She was a member of Community Bible Church, Chetopa, KS. She enjoyed gardening, camping, and fishing. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her sisters at the cabin.








Surviving are three daughters, April Thomas, Oswego, KS, Tanya Arnold (husband, Shawn), Afton, OK, and Dora Confer (husband, William Pennington), Joplin, MO; her father, James Edings, Choctaw, OK; five brothers, Kenny Mahan, Parsons, KS, Keith Edings, Oswego, KS, Ira Edings, Parsons, KS, Joe Edings, Oklahoma, and Toby Edings, Arizona; six sisters, Nancy Lemaster, Parsons ,KS, Joey Benward, Columbia, MO, Lisa Heady, Edna, KS, Teresa Hull, Parsons, KS, Chariett Edings, Choctaw, OK, and Gail Edings, Seminole, OK; six grandchildren, Chance Thomas, Justice Melton, Patience Miller, Morgan Bunce, Skyler Confer, and Braden Crockett; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Community Bible Church, Chetopa, KS. Pastor Randy Frazier will officiate. Burial will be in Oswego Cemetery, Oswego, KS under the direction of Derfelt Funeral Home, Oswego.
