Jim Coleman

James (Jim) Coleman of Webb City, MO passed away at home March 26, 2022.

Jim was a lifelong resident of Webb City. Son of the late Thomas W. Coleman and Bertha (Breedlove) Coleman. He attended school at Webb City High School, Pittsburg State, and Joplin Junior College.








He worked at R & S Chevrolet and Cardinal Scales before years of employment at The Webb Corporation, of Webb City. He had many hobbies over the years. When he was younger he was known for building engines for street cars and stock car engines. He had many years of enjoying fishing and camping on Table Rock Lake. But what brought him the most joy was sports. 

He served several years as Webb City Little League president. Helping establish the new fields in King Jack Park. The greatest Love in his life was Football. He had a passion for football. When healthy never missed a home game of the Webb City Cardinals on Friday’s. And attended as many away games as possible. Saturdays were reserved for Missouri Southern, and Pittsburg State games. Sundays and Monday nights he would be found watching NFL.

He also enjoyed being a Ham radio operator and loved playing guitar most all of his life.

Survivors are a wife Guyla Coleman of the home. Daughters Debbie Harlen and husband Tom Harlen, Teresa Musselman and husband Chuck Musselman all of Webb City. Five grandchildren, three great grandchildren.

Graveside service to be scheduled.
