(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Betsy J. Muro, age 77 of Joplin, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord on April 28, 2022.
Betsy was born on September 14, 1944 in Cleveland, OK, the daughter of the late John and Rachel (Caswell) Potts.
Betsy was a resident of the Joplin area for over thirty years.
She married the love of her life John Muro in the summer of 1997 in Joplin, Missouri. She was an amazing homemaker, and loved quilting, cardmaking, sewing, and any homemade crafting that took creative skill. Betsy and John were members of Park Plaza Christian Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; John and Rachel Potts, and her brother Gene Potts.
She is survived by her loving husband John Muro, her brother Jerry Potts, and her sister Peggy Prickett.
A Memorial Service has been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Park Plaza Christian Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
