William Torres Lopez Sr., 53, passed away March 6, 2024, in Joplin, Missouri. William was born January 3, 1971, in Coatepeque, Guatemala to German Torres and Milagros Barrios. William was a longtime resident of Monett, Missouri. He worked in construction throughout the area.

William was united in marriage to Lilian Ramos on August 15, 2005, in Monett, Missouri; she survives.

William is survived by his wife, Lilian; four sons, William Torres Jr. (Cecilia), Yessi Torres (Mackenzie), Melvin Torres, and Yadiel Torres, all of Monett, Missouri; two daughters, Adriana Torres (Enrique) of Carthage, Missouri, and Londi Torres of Monett, Missouri; ten grandchildren, Alejandro, Isabel, Gensis, Enrique, Natalia, Octavia, William III, Oxanna, Kayson, and Xavier; five brothers, Rafael Torres, Delfido Torres, German Torres Jr., and Mynor Torres, Noel Torres; and two sisters, Analy Torres and Nanci Torres.

William is preceded in death by his parents, German Torres Sr., and Milagros Barrios.

A public visitation will be held from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Iglesia Cristiana Emmanuel, 2151 E. Fairview Ave., Carthage, Missouri. A family visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Ulmer Funeral Home in Carthage. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2024, at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Monett, Missouri.
