Jack Grebe

Jack Grebe, age 91, of Joplin, Missouri passed away Thursday April 25, 2024.

He was born March 21, 1933 in Flat River, Missouri to John and Dorothy (Crocker) Grebe.

Jack was a medical technician at Freeman Health System and retired in 1998. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. He enjoyed painting and old cowboy movies.

He married Lucille Childers on July 31, 1954 in Festus, Missouri and she preceded him in death on November 25, 2022. Jack was also preceded in death by his parents, one brother, David Grebe and two foster brothers, Donny and Johnny Hodges, one grandson, Brad Long who passed away December 12, 2017.

Jack is survived by one son, Lonnie Grebe and wife Diana, Joplin, Missouri, two daughters, Rebecca (Becky) Long, Commerce, Oklahoma, Vickie Brasuell and husband Randy, Ft. Scott, Kansas; four brothers, Robert Grebe, Richard Grebe, Micheal Grebe, William Grebe, one foster brother, Dan Hodges; two sisters, Betty Noble, Carole Bell, as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Memorial services will be 11:00 am Saturday May 18, 2024 at Mason-Woodard Mortuary with Justin Coberly officiating.
