Jonny Kilmer

Jonathan David Kilmer passed away the morning of Friday, January 10, 2025, at approximately 3 a.m. at his home in Bella Vista, Arkansas. He was born January 21, 1971, in Stella, MO to Sharron (Brackeen) & Tommy Kilmer.

Jonny spent his early years surrounded by the love and support of his family. He cherished the time spent with his parents, Vickie and Tommy and brother ,Richie, forming bonds that would last a lifetime. His warmth and kindness were evident to all who knew him.






 

Jonny had an infectious enthusiasm for life and a genuine spirit that drew people to him.

He was known for his unwavering dedication to his loved ones, his work, and his passions. His early years were marked by a deep involvement in his school activities.

His journey took him from the rolling hills of Missouri to the tranquil landscapes of Arkansas. Jonny's love for music blossomed during his time at Noel Elementary and Jr High School. He was particularly passionate about playing the trumpet, an instrument that became a significant part of his identity. His talent and dedication to music earned him a place in the McDonald County High School Mustangs Marching Band and the Swing Band, where he continued to hone his skills and share his gift with others.

After completing his high school education in 1989, Jonny moved to Joplin, Missouri, where he pursued higher education and personal growth. During his time in Joplin, Jonny's life took a meaningful turn as he met and married Angelene Wolf.

Jonny's academic pursuits were equally impressive. Balancing his studies with his growing family responsibilities, he exemplified determination and perseverance. His time at Missouri Southern State University was marked by academic excellence and personal growth, setting the stage for a successful career in business administration.

The couple married on December 17, 1994, in Webb City, Missouri. They were blessed with a daughter, BreeAnna Nicole Kilmer, born on May 14, 1995, in Springfield, Missouri. Jonny balanced his roles as a devoted husband, father, and student, attending Missouri Southern State University. He graduated in December 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, emphasizing Management.

Jonny's personal and professional life flourished in Joplin. He later married Danielle Baert on July 15, 2000. Their union brought another daughter, Tatum Saleen Kilmer, born on March 11, 2000, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. Jonny's career achievements included serving as a Credit Manager at Fastenal Fulfillment Center in Monette, Missouri, for seven years, and as a Senior Credit Manager at Twin Rivers Foods, Inc. in Rogers, Arkansas, for eleven years.

Jonny's dedication to his family, his studies, and his career was unwavering. He managed to balance the demands of being a devoted husband and father with his academic and professional pursuits with remarkable grace. His time at Missouri Southern State University was a period of significant personal and professional growth. He excelled in his studies, particularly in business administration, which laid the foundation for his future career success.

In addition to his academic achievements, Jonny's passion for music remained a steadfast part of his life.

Jonny's career path led him to notable positions, first as a Credit Manager at Fastenal Fulfillment Center in Monette, Missouri, and later as a Senior Credit Manager at Twin Rivers Foods, Inc. in Rogers, Arkansas. His professional life was marked by dedication, hard work, and a commitment to excellence, earning him the respect and admiration of his colleagues.

Throughout his life, Jonny pursued various hobbies that reflected his diverse interests. He enjoyed skeet shooting, a sport that allowed him to relax and enjoy the outdoors. His love for cars was evident as he often spent time admiring different vehicles. He also had a love for music. Reconnecting with old friends brought him great joy, and he cherished these relationships.





 

He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Brent Kilmer, in December 1987 and mother, Sharron Burnett, November 14, 2012.

Jonny is survived by his wife, Danielle Kilmer of the home; two daughters, BreeAnna Nicole Kilmer, Joplin MO, and Tatum Saleen Kilmer Rogers AR; parents, Vickie & Tommy Kilmer, Mountain Home, AR; father-in-law, Dan Baert, Joplin, MO; sister-in-law, Melissa Baert, Joplin MO; many aunts and uncles; 8 cousins; 3 nephews; and 1 niece.

Jonny's legacy will live on through his daughters, BreeAnna Kilmer and Tatum Kilmer whom he loved and cherished.

Plans for a celebration of life will be planned later, by daughters, Tatum Kilmer and BreeAnna Kilmer.
