(From Parker Mortuary)Kay L. Caudell, age 87, Joplin, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025 at a local nursing center.
Kay was born August 26, 1937 in Joplin, MO, daughter of the late Wayne “Pete” Edge and Faye Ruby (Trout) Edge. She graduated from Webb City High School and then attended Joplin Junior College. She worked for over 25 years as a salesperson for the Yellow Pages, retiring in 2003.
Prior to working for Yellow Pages, she worked for Rainbow Trailer Sales, Barberio Cheese, Sheppard and Buckingham Employment Agency, and Tamko. She was a member of St Philip’s Episcopal Church and supported the Democratic Party. She loved spending time with her family, whether that was going out to eat or shopping. She was a devote St. Louis Cardinal fan and took her grandchildren to many games in St. Louis and was also a Kansas City Chiefs fan. She will be greatly missed by many.
Survivors include her daughter, Tracey Miller (Larry) of Carterville, MO, grandchildren, Rachael Miller Nugent (Mitchell) of Joplin, Ryan Miller of Carterville, Michael Miller of Webb City, Randon Miller of Pryor, OK, Taylar Miller of Locust Grove, OK, Cody Spencer (Samantha) of Goodman, MO, and Belinda Miller; great-grandchildren, Alaina Miller, Caden Miller, Walker Nugent, Lucas Spencer, Cole Spencer, Amoura Miller, William Miller, Archer Miller, Ryder McNee, Brayden Kaneer, and Brett Miracle.

Funeral service will be Monday, January 20, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in Parker Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Alan McCamey officiating.
Burial of her ashes will be at a later date in Osborne Memorial Cemetery.
Family requests that flowers be sent to the funeral home in honor of Kay.
