Donald R. Mabry, 69, of Monett, MO, passed suddenly from this life on Saturday, June 28, 2025, while at his home.

Donald was born on September 20, 1955 in Covington, VA, son of Wesley George and Cleo Josephine (Ruler) Mabry. Donald was a father and grandfather who loved spending time with his six grandkids. He was a United States Marine veteran with a honorable discharge. He loved to work on small motors. He will be truly missed by his daughters, Cleo and Tasha and his six grandchildren.






Donald is survived by his daughter, Cleo Ruiz Cruz of Joplin, MO; one stepdaughter, Tasha Holman and husband Jake of Republic, MO; six grandchildren, Diego Hernandez, Mea Holman, Ricardo Ruiz, Abirana Ruiz, Nicholas Ruiz and Bodie Holman; two brothers, Wayne Mabry and wife Jody of Salem, VA and Perry Mabry and wife Patty of Covington, VA; one sister, Robin Mabry of Conneaut, OH.

He was preceded in death by, his wife, Paula Sue; one daughter, Holly Hernadez; three sisters, Rita, Neldria and Fawn.

The family will celebrate Donald's life with a balloon release at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2025 at the Monett South Park. Arrangements are under the personal care of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
