Debbie Lee

Debbie Jean Lee, age 69, of Grove, Oklahoma, passed away tragically in an automobile accident on June 26, 2025. She was born on October 6, 1955, in Noel, Missouri to George and Dorann (Burger) Abercrombie. She was a delightful person to be around and had a spunky, no-nonsense personality, combined with a caring and plain-spoken nature.

She dedicated 25 years of her life as a Registered Nurse at St. Francis Hospital in Vinita, OK, where she was respected for her hard work and commitment.








Debbie completed her high school education at McDonald County High School in Anderson, MO, and furthered her studies by earning an associate's degree in nursing from NEO A&M college in Miami, OK. Her passion for nursing was evident not only in her career but also in her willingness to fill in and assist when needed.

Outside her professional life, Debbie cherished spending time with family, friends and her six adored grandchildren, shopping online and watching movies, just to name a few. These activities reflected her enduring dedication to both her family and her community.

Debbie is survived by her long-term partner, Doug Foreman; her daughter, Janell Brixey (Tony) of Grove; her son, Ryan Lee (Rachel) of Siloam Springs, AR; and her brother, Raymond Abercrombie (Loretta) of Jay, OK.







She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ronald Abercrombie.

A celebration of Debbie’s Life will be at 10am Saturday, July 12, 2025, at her home, 35625 S. 620 Rd, Grove, OK 74344. Nichols-Stephens Funeral & Cremation Services in Grove, OK, is assisting the family during this difficult time.
