Mrs. Stella Fay Simpson, 61, of Jasper, formally of Sarcoxie, passed away early Tuesday morning, January 7, 2020 in the comfort of her home.
She entered this life on January 29, 1958 in Conroe, Texas to the union of the late John Amos and Fay (Gibson) Ellis. She attended High School at West Columbia, Texas. Through her years she resided in Texas, Arkansas and Missouri. She worked as a manager for several different convenience stores. On December 16, 2005 she was united in marriage to Brian Simpson. Together they shared fourteen years. She enjoyed her grandchildren, small animals and helping others. She will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and two stepsisters.
Stella is survived by her husband, Brian, of the home; children, Johnnie Ellis (Theresa) of Jasper, Christina James, Angel Anise Davis (Sam) of Willard, John Lee Chantry Simpson, (Kylie) of Kahoka, Fawn Lea North, of Kansas City; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Ellis, Pam Jones, Matthew Ellis and Joe McDaniel; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Memorial services for Mrs. Simpson will be Friday, January 10, 2020 from 1:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at the family home.
