Phyllis Jack

Mrs. Phyllis Ann Jack, 85, of Sarcoxie, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Sarcoxie Nursing Center.

Phyllis entered this life on June 25, 1934 in Coffeyville, Kansas to the union of the late London Neil and Kathleen Alida (Barker) Todd. She was a graduate of Field Kindley Memorial High School, Coffeyville, Kansas.

On May 23, 1952 she was united in marriage to Bobby Lee Jack. Together they shared sixty seven years of wonderful memories. During the early years of their marriage they resided in Coffeyville, Parsons, Carthage and later making Sarcoxie their home. 

For several years she worked for Juvenile Shoe, retiring from Justin Boot. She was a member of New Fairview Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed baking, crocheting and bird watching. She will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved her.








She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Sammy Jack Sr; grandchildren, Travis Eugene Jack and Elizabeth Jack.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Bobby Lee Jack Sr. of the home; children, Bobby Lee Jack Jr. (Sheila), Tommy Jack, Kathleen Feather (Curtis), Vickie Schmidt (Randy), Cindy Myers (Mike) and Terry Jack all of Sarcoxie; grandchildren, Krischa Jack, Dakota Jack, Shelby Jack, Chase Jack, Sammy Neil Jack, Jr. (Mary), Randy Wayne Jack, Jessie Jack (Cassie), Crystal Loveland (Dalton), Jennifer Baker (Casey), Denver Feather, Dusty Feather (Melinda), Charles Whitehead (Kris), Andrew Whitehead (Jessi), Jessica Flynn (Rowdy), Colton Myers (Sierra), Justin Myers and Dalton Jack; twenty five great-grandchildren; brother, Ed Todd (Marilyn), of Coffeyville, Kansas; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jack are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 8, 2020 at New Fairview Baptist Church, Sarcoxie with Pastors Marvin Hensley and Kenneth Filsinger officiating. Interment will follow in Sarcoxie Cemetery.

Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Sammy Jack Jr., Charles Whitehead, Denver Feather, Dusty Feather, Colton Myers and Randy Jack. Honorary pallbearers will be Dakota Jack, Chase Jack, Jessie Jack, Andrew Whitehead, Justin Myers, Dalton Jack, Leroy Housh and Carroll “Pete” Housh.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to New Fairview Baptist Church or “Inch at a Time” in care of the funeral home. On-line condolences may be sent to the family through our website www.housh-goodwinfuneralhome.com.
