Erma Jo Ann “Riley” Fields born on January 18, 1941 In Liberal Missouri got her angel wings on March 12, 2020 in Pittsburg Kansas.
Erma graduated from Liberal High School Class of 1959. Her life was filled with family, love, dancing, rummage sales, trips to Bear’s Den with her sisters, vacations to Colorado and picking blackberries.
Survivors include her husband William “Bill” Fields of sixty years, Pittsburg Kansas; two sons and their spouses William Joel and Kathy Fields of Pittsburg Kansas; Jon Michael and Regina Fields of Carthage Missouri; Grandchildren Whitney Gould and Michael of Pratt Kansas and Joshua Proffitt with Tillie of Pittsburg Kansas Great Grandchildren: Brandon and Kaden, Gracynn and Charlott. Two sisters: Velma Spurling and Pat Rea and one brother Vernon Riley all of Liberal, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Burton and Elberta Riley of Liberal Missouri.
Private ceremonies will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorials to the William “Bill” Fields.
