Iva Jean Barton, 82, of Eucha, Oklahoma, departed this life on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at her daughter’s home in Kansas, Oklahoma.
Iva entered this life on July 3, 1937 in Bakerfield, California, born to the late Dolph and Lois (Roston) Burleson. She married Samuel D. Barton in April of 1954 at Seneca, Missouri. She enjoyed quilting, cooking and fishing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Barton; siblings, Geneva Burleson, Kenneth Burleson, Clyde Burleson, Leroy Burleson.
Iva is survived by her children, David Barton of Southwest City, Missouri, Claude Barton of Noel, Missouri, Peggy Sue Smith of Eucha, Oklahoma, Karma Turner of Little Kansas, Oklahoma, Mark Barton of Jay, Oklahoma; a brother, Ernie Burleson of Wyandotte, Oklahoma; a sister, Sharon Smith of Chicago, Illinois; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Iva.
Graveside Funeral Services for Iva will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, March 20, 2020 at the Saratoga Cemetery in Southwest City, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri. The family will receive friends at this time.
