Larry Huston

Mr. Larry Huston, passed away at the age of 77 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri on December 11, 2020.

He was born on December 17, 1942 at Neosho, Missouri, son of William and Thelma Huston. He graduated from high school at Southwest City, Missouri. 

Larry served as an E$ in the Army from 1961 to 1964 and was in South Korea for 13 months.








Larry had a farm, west of Anderson, where he enjoyed his cattle and being a part-time farmer. He worked at Holden Industry as a sales manager, until his retirement. He was a commissioned Deputy Sheriff of McDonald County in 1989 and attended the Sheriff’s Association Training Academy, graduating in 2005. He continued working as a deputy until he had to retire in 2018 due to poor health. He enjoyed hunting and looked forward to participating in Shop with a Hero every Christmas.

Larry is survived by his wife, Marsha. He had three sons; one daughter, two stepsons and one stepdaughter; four brothers; 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to Shop with a Hero in McDonald County.
