William ‘Bill’ Albert Lucky, Jr., 60, Neosho, passed away on January 28, 2019 in New York, New York.
Bill was born March 17, 1958 in Carthage, MO to William Albert and Velma Jeanette Lucky. Bill went to elementary school in Carthage, MO where his first job was as a newspaper boy.
Bill moved to Neosho in about 1968 and was a graduate of Neosho High School in 1976. Bill was active and successful in speech, debate, choir, drama, and Community Theater. He moved to Little Rock, AR to attend the University of Arkansas in September of 1976. He then moved to Kansas City in 1978, where he stayed briefly, until moving on to New York City to pursue an acting career. He had a wonderful career with the Orient Express and in Hotel Management.
Bill was a very private person who was known for his fantastic personality, generosity and wonderful sense of humor. He loved music, his family, his friends, and his cats. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Douglas Allen Lucky. He leaves behind his two sisters, Pamela Lucky and Janice Lucky both of Webb City, MO. He also leaves behind many friends who loved him dearly. Bill will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 1:00-3:00 pm at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Neosho, MO.
