(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Cheryl Gayle Pratt, 69, beloved wife of the late Ernie Pratt Sr, loving daughter of the late Orban and Olean Wages, and the younger sister of the late Elaine Richards (Wages).
Cheryl was a devoted Mother of three children with their spouses respectively, her son Ernie Pratt Jr with spouse Donna Pratt, daughter Sherrie Stitcher with spouse Jimie Stitcher, and her son Joshua Pratt with spouse Shannon Pratt.
She is also survived by her four grandchildren Kalina Pratt, Tori Malaihollo (Pratt), Demirae Rodriguez (Allen), Joshua Pratt Jr, and she was the Great Grandmother of three amazing great grandchildren Destiny Rodriguez, Paisley Jones, and Astrid Rodriguez.
Cheryl was born and raised in Cincinnati Ohio where she met and married her husband on January 15, 1977. They later moved to Fontana California where together they raised their beautiful family. As time passed by, her kids spread their wings and began to fly away. Ernie Jr landed in Washington state, Sherrie and Joshua landed in the state of Missouri. Cheryl remained in California where she worked for The Law Offices of Parker and Irwin for over 30 years and eventually retired in 2018.
In 2020 Cheryl’s youngest and favorite child, Joshua, came to her daring rescue and moved her to the last place she would live, Joplin Missouri. Her celebration of life took place in her home at 3502 Willow Lane on Friday, February 3rd, 2023.
