Julianna Dizor

(From Greenfield Funeral Chapel)

Julianna Leigh Dizor, age 27 from Jacksonville, Florida passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 2, 2024 in Jacksonville.

Julianna was born on September 18, 1996 in Tampa, Florida to Robert and Tara (Matthews) Dizor. She lived in Florida and Menominee, Michigan for a large part of her life. She was the second oldest of 5 children and had the ability to brighten the mood of those around her. She graduated from the Seven Bridges school in 2015 and was an honor student there.

Even though she lived with the diagnosis of Autism, she never let that come between her and those she loved. She leaves behind a host of bereaved loved ones.

Julianna loved to paint and she was an avid Disney fan. Some of her most memorable times were spent visiting the Disney Parks and immersing herself in the culture and fun there. She relished meeting the characters she was so fond of. Like her favorite characters, she believed in good triumphing over evil. She believed that the best way to live was to be like the hero or heroine who was an honorable, decent and loving person. She brought a simple purity of unselfishness and love to her family and friends. She was a sweet person with a fun sense of humor. We will miss her deeply.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Karen Kaelke Matthews and her cousin Beth Ami Dugas.

She is survived by her parents, Robert and Tara Dizor of Fort Walton Beach, and her four siblings, Robert M. Dizor, Daniel P. Dizor, Alexander J. Dizor and Brianna E. Dizor. She also leaves behind her Grandpa, Robert Matthews (Fort Walton Beach), grandparents Carl and Patti Dizor (Jacksonville), Uncle Ted Matthews (Fort Walton Beach), Uncle Mike and Aunt Valerie Dizor (Hanover, PA) their children Sam, Michael, Katie, Lizzie, Jenny, Johnny, Peter and Mary, her Uncle David (Jacksonville) and his son Nathaniel, her Uncle John and Aunt Roxanne (Baton Rouge, LA) and their children, Taylor, Connor and Anne-Marie. Great Uncle David Ray, great-aunt Joann Ray their son David Ray of Jacksonville; Cousins AJ and Anna Genotti, Great-Uncle Bo Dennis, Great-aunt Patty Dennis (Jacksonville) and their sons and families, Jonathan, Allyn and Timothy.
