Beverly Jean Hale, age 72 of Columbus passed away at her home on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 3:33 AM.
Beverly was born on May 22, 1943 to the union of Paul Edward Gust and Betty Jean (Shaw) Gust. She graduated from Columbus High School with the Class of 1961.
Beverly spent the majority of her life in Columbus. She worked as an Insurance Clerk for the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant for many years, and also at Simpson Steel in Columbus as a Secretary, before retiring at the age of 65. She attended Central Christian Center in Joplin, MO. During her free time, she enjoyed going to garage sales, gardening, and spending time with her grandkids. Above all else, she was very family oriented.
Beverly was preceded in death by her father, Paul E. Gust.
Survivors include her mother, Betty Jean Gust; one son, Billy Dunnic (wife, Melissa) of Carthage, MO; two daughters, Sheila Miller (significant other, Lori Groves) of Webb City, MO, and Marsha Faubion (husband, Chris) of Joplin; five grandchildren, Brandon York (wife, Kendra), Bryce York, Austin York, Tyler Dunnic, and Allison Daniels (husband, Aaron); one great-grand daughter, Lydia Joy Daniels; three sisters, Judy Pace of Willard, MO; Diane Bamman of Columbus; and Patty Ligon (husband, Gary) of Columbus; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
