Frank L. Langston was born on June 1, 1925 in Bowers Mill, Missouri to Paul and Icel Cochran Langston. He died on April 19, 2016 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, after a brief stay. Frank graduated from Mt. Vernon, Missouri High School in 1943. He served in the Army Air Corps, 8th Air Force, 92nd Bomb Group and flew 35 bombing missions over Nazi Germany. He married Ruth Weihe on June 11, 1946 and they celebrated 58 years of marriage before her passing in 2004.
He is survived by his brother, Charles Langston (Kathryn) of rural LaRussell, three children, Carolyn Langston of St. Louis, JoAnn Langston McGuire (Paul) of Springfield, and Wayne Langston of rural LaRussell, five grandchildren, Kristin Kiddoo (Pat), Jason Ketchum (Christina), Adam Graff (Eli), Brandon Graff (Jessica) and Nathan Graff (Kylee), and six great-grandchildren.
