Richard Lavaughn Sanders, 78, passed away at his Neosho home on January 6, 2019. He was born October 16, 1940 in McDonald County, MO to Walter Lavaughn and Eva Merle (Durham) Sanders.
Mr. Sanders had previously been employed with Tamko Shingle Co. as a line worker. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family.
Richard is survived by five brothers: Gene Sanders and wife, Carolyn of Stella, MO, Darrell Sanders of Anderson, MO, Clyde Sanders of Stella, Tony Sanders of Diamond, MO, and Donnie Sanders of Aurora, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Laverne Sanders and Dennis Sanders.
Graveside services will be 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Union Cemetery, Stella, MO, with Pastor Roger Morey officiating.
