(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Paula Jane “Rains” LeMasters, 72, passed away September 30th, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Carthage Missouri. Paula was born September 23rd, 1949 in Carthage Missouri to Joe Rains and Loretta Stephens, both preceded her in death.
Paula was married to Dale LeMasters on June 17th, 1989 in Joplin, Missouri.
Paula worked as a secretary for Yates Furniture or 13 years, she was the treasurer for Victory Baptist Church as well as New Hope Cemetery for many years. Paula also worked for Juvenile Shoe, later named Justin Boots for many years as well as Safeway Cheese for a short time.
Paula is survived by her husband Dale LeMasters, Three Daughters Monika(Levi) of Sarcoxie, MO, M’Lissa Thompson(Patric) or Carthage, MO, Miranda Mayfield(fiancé Paul) of Carthage, MO; Two step children Jason LeMasters of Kansas City, MO, Nedale Johnson(Bob) of Joplin, MO; One Sister Kathy Throener(Mark) of Joplin; She is also survived by ten grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Services will be held at Victory Baptist Church in Carthage on Tuesday October 5th, 2021 at 11am, Visitation will be held prior to service time on Tuesday October 5th, 2021 from 10am to 11am at Victory Baptist Church. Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery Just outside of Avilla.
