Hazel Leach

Hazel Marie Leach, 76, of Anderson, Missouri, was called to her heavenly home on Friday, December 31, 2021, in Gravette, Arkansas.

Hazel entered this life on June 22, 1945, in Noel, Missouri, born to the late Garr Mathews and Susie (Anderson) Mathews. Hazel was a giving and loving woman. For most of her life she worked as a caregiver. 










She was united in marriage to William “Bill” Leach, on May 5, 2002. Together they shared almost twenty years of marriage. In her spare time, she cherished spending time at home and cooking breakfast for her family. Her family always looked forward to her crispy turkey bacon and pancakes. Bill will always lovingly refer to Hazel as his “better half”.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Sherman, Jay, Alvie, Jim, and Henry; her sisters, Virgie, Dixie, Mary, and Shirley.

Hazel leaves behind her husband, William “Bill” Leach; her children, Kevin Zacher and Paula Barth; her grandchildren, Andy, Samuel, Wesley, Katie, Amanda, and Darlene.

The family will receive friends on Monday morning, January 10, 2022, from 10–11:00 a.m. at Ozark Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, January 10, 2022, at Ozark Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Peace Valley Cemetery, in Anderson, Missouri. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers Hazel’s family and friends. A luncheon will be served immediately following burial at the New Life Church in Anderson, Missouri. Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website, www.ozarkfuneralhome.com.
