(From Parker Mortuary)Lisa Anne Ogden, age 49, of Joplin, passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021 at her home.
Lisa, daughter of the late Leslie and Beverly (Kent) Beatty, was born on February 28, 1972 in Bellflower, CA. She moved to Joplin with her family at a young age where she attended and graduated from Joplin High School. Soon after she then attended Missouri Southern State University.
On May 21, 2005, she was united in marriage to Allen Ogden in Joplin. She worked most of her life in health care and previously as a Tech at INTEGRIS Health in Miami. She was a member of the Calvary Chapel Baptist Church and was certified as a Master Diver in Scuba Diving. Lisa was talented at many things, but her favorite role in life came when she became a mother. Lisa was a lovingly devoted mother, wife, and friend that always put those she loved first.
Survivors include her husband, Allen Ogden, of Joplin; her daughter, Jordan Ogden, of the home; her step-mother, Lyn McNair, of Carterville; one uncle, Bill Kent, and his wife, Patty, of Norman, OK; cousins, Chris Kent, of Norman, OK, Aaron Kent, of Albuquerque, NM, and Teresa Pope, of Waynesville, MO; and many close friends. In addition to her parents, Lisa was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dale and Betty Kent.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Parker Mortuary in Joplin with burial to follow at Osborne Memorial Cemetery in Joplin. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Sunday, January 2nd from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Parker Mortuary in Joplin.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
