Trent Morgan

Trent Henry Morgan, age 26, of Liberal, Missouri passed away December 28, 2021, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Trent was born August 4, 1995 in Lamar, Missouri to Henry Dale Morgan and Michelle Lynn (Immekus) Morgan. Trent graduated from Lamar High School in the class of 2014 and Pittsburg State University in 2017. On April 23, 2016, Trent married his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Caitlin Guadalupe Moreno in Liberal, MO.






 

Trent worked as a process engineer for MAPP Technologies in Joplin, Missouri. While in high school, Trent was a member of Learn-A-Do, 4H, FFA, FBLA, Student Council, Class Vice President and Barton County Barn Swingers. Trent also played baseball and football, and was a part of the 2011 State Championship football team. He was a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineering, and was a church board member and youth leader at Hannon Freewill Baptist Church in Liberal, MO.

Survivors include his wife, Caitlin Morgan, one son, Grant Morgan, one daughter, Hazel Morgan, his parents, Henry and Michelle Morgan of Lamar, MO, grandmothers; Linda Morgan of Lamar, MO and Donna Immekus of Carthage, MO, and two sisters; Alexandra "Allie" (Aaron) Palma of Carl Junction, MO, and Kelsie (Tyler) Sprouls of Lamar, MO., five nephews, one niece and many aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws.

Trent was preceded in death by grandfathers; Richard Morgan and Larry Immekus and a cousin, Haidyn Immekus Lee.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Hannon Freewill Baptist Church in Liberal, MO., with burial to follow at Oak Grove (Oakton) Cemetery in Lamar, MO.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Daniel Funeral Home in Lamar, MO.

Contributions are suggested and made payable to Hannon Freewill Baptist Church Youth Group in care of Daniel Funeral Home.
