Guillerrmo “Willie” Piña, age 65, of Neosho Missouri passed away at 9:05 pm on Friday, December 31, 2021, with his family by his side. He was born June 25, 1956, in San Jose De Aura Coahuila, Mexico to Isidro Piña and Maria Del Refugio Gutierrez. 

On May 16, 1975, he married Martina Guevara in Sabinas Coahuila, Mexico. Piña worked in road construction in Texas until 1989 when he and his family moved to Granby, Missouri. It was then he started dairy farming. 

Piña loved living on the farm and raising his family there. He was a member of the Casa Jaziel Church in Neosho, Missouri. Piña enjoyed hunting, fishing and swimming often hoping in the local creek for a swim.

He is survived by his wife Martina; four children Juan Piña and his wife Patricia of Joplin MO; Jose Piña of Odessa TX; Fernando Piña and his wife Dwon of Quapaw OK; Ruth Boes and her husband Jeremy of Neosho MO; 13 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and his sister Pura Piña. His parents, four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

A funeral service will be held from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on Friday, January 7, 2022, at the Clark Funeral Home in Neosho, Missouri.
