Delane Doss

Delane Doss, age 60, of Goodman, Missouri, suddenly departed this life on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at her residence.

She was born September 15, 1962, in Springdale, Arkansas, daughter of F.D. and Alta Madewell. 

 On November 24, 1980, Delane was united in marriage to Danny Doss, and to this union two daughters were born. Together they shared 23 wonderful years.

 

Delane loved living in the country and was a country girl at heart. For most of her adult life, she owned and operated a chicken farm. She loved caring for her English Bulldogs. They were her companions and brought her much comfort. She was an ornery, spirited and stubborn woman. Delane had the gift of a green thumb and loved caring for her plants. She loved and adored her grandchildren, she cherished the time she got to spend with them as they were her pride and joy.

Preceding her in death was her father, F.D. Madewell; and her beloved husband, Danny Doss.

 

She is survived by her mother, Alta Madewell; her brother, David Madewell, her two daughters, Tiffeny Walls and husband James, and Andrea Faidley and husband Bryan; her grandchildren, Jaden Hoy, Dannie Hoy, Brayden Faidley, Aubrie Faidley and Blake Faidley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as a host of other friends and family.

Memorial services for Delane will be held at the First Baptist Church in Pineville, Missouri, on February 11, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Leo Lenze will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Butler Creek Cemetery in Sulphur Springs, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church of Pineville, Missouri.
