(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Howard "Richard" Emery 85, of Carthage Mo. passed away Thursday evening after a brief illness. Richard was born February 3. 1937 in Carthage Missouri to Ben and Beatrice(Lee) Emery.
Richard was a truck driver and had worked over the years for various companies and ended his career with Con-Agra Foods of Carthage.
He was a member of the Bridge, formerly the First Christian Church in Carthage. he married Virginia Jarvis June 5,1964 and she preceded him in death on February 2,1999.
Survivors would include a Stepdaughter Florence Meyer of Joplin MO, and one Sister. Judy Osborn Carthage Mo.
Richard was preceded in death by one brother Clifford Emery.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday 2:00 p.m. February 7,2023 at Memory Gardens in Lamar MO.
