Alfred Mills

Alfred Benjamin Mills, Joplin, Missouri, passed away suddenly on July 21, 2023.

Alfred was born on December 18, 1979, In McPherson, Kansas to Robert Mills and Joyce Green.

Alfred enjoyed cooking and loved to create meals for friends and family. He loved fishing, gaming, and was always joking around. He was very determined and an extremely hard worker. But most of all, he was loving, caring, a good friend, never letting a day pass by without calling in to check on his mother calling her mums.

 

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Fred Green; grandmother, Margaret Duncan; and uncle, Richard Duncan.

Alfred is survived by his mother Joyce Lukens (Kenny) of Joplin, Missouri; siblings, Angel Mills of Joplin, Tonie Haslip (Rob) of Carl Junction, Tammy Gunter of Mt. Grove, Amber Miller of Kansas, Lloyd Duncan (Ty) of Joplin, and Alex Mills of Kansas; Aunt Mary Roach and Aunt Mabel Roach, both of Joplin, Missouri; and several friends and extended family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Memorial Service is planned for Thursday, August 3, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel in Joplin, Missouri. Arrangements and cremation are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
