Reggie Geier

Regina (Reggie) Rae Geier, 86, of Girard, KS passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024 in Pittsburg, KS. Reggie was born June 6, 1938 in Girard, KS to Verdan and Nona (Hallacy) Ryan. She grew up in Brazilton, KS and attended rural schools before graduating from Girard High School. 

Reggie enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, genealogy and spending time with family and friends. 







She married Ray Earl Geier in December 1956. They later divorced. She met her companion, John Davis, in the early 1980’s and they were together up until his passing on April 14, 2023. 

She is survived by her children Rhonda (Tony) Stonerock of Girard, KS, Linda Redden of Columbus, KS, Lonny Geier of Girard, KS and Larry Geier of Carl Junction, MO. Her brother Tom Ryan and brother-in-law Jerry Green, both of Independence, MO. Grandchildren Anthony (Taylor) Stonerock their son Cayde of Winfield, KS, Aaron (Emily) Stonerock of Kansas City, KS, William Fry of Stillwater, OK, Adelle and Arecca Redden of Columbus, KS and nieces and nephews. John’s children, Melissa Davis Brandes of Sedelia, MO, Michael (Shelly) Davis, Mitchell Davis, and Milburn (Lisa) Davis all of Coal Camp, MO. Numerous nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her younger sisters Connie K. Ryan, Roxie Green, sister-in-law Connie Sue Ryan, and nephew William W. Ryan. 








Rosary will be at 6:30pm Sunday, July 7th at Smith-Carson- Wall Funeral Home in Girard with visitation to follow until 8:00pm. Mass of Christian burial will be at St. Michael Catholic Church, Girard, Monday July 8th at 10:00am with Father Daniel Vacca as celebrant. Burial to follow at Girard cemetery. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m., Sunday at the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Girard. 

The family suggests memorials be given Girard American Legion, Post #26, Ladies Auxiliary or St. Aloysius Historical Society.
