Andrew Henry

(From Simpson Funeral Home)

Andrew Martin Henry, or as he was more fondly known - Drew, Andy, and thanks to Gary, Snoop Dog, was a man who lived by his own rules. Born on October 19, 1985, in Ulysses, KS, USA, Andrew was as charismatic as they come, with a sense of adventure that would make Indiana Jones feel like a homebody, and a sense of humor that would make a statue crack a smile.

To say that Andrew was a jack of all trades would be an understatement. From his early days working in a machine shop to his numerous top sales awards at multiple call centers, Andrew was never afraid to roll up his sleeves and get the job done.

His resume was as varied as his late-night cereal choices, which he would douse with a ton of sugar, of course. A lover of astrology, history, and music, Andrew's interests were vast and his knowledge was impressive. He was a man of faith who believed in God and prayed almost daily. A verse that captures his ethos is from the book of Matthew, "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven."

Andrew loved his family more than anything, and his family loved him back tenfold. He was a good father, a good uncle, and a true Superman (he had the collection to prove it!). Andrew's magnetic personality and kind heart will be remembered by those who survive him: his step-father Kirk Brite, mother Stacey Brite, brother Christopher Henry, spouse Kristen Carter, children Burgandie Green, Hannah Henry, Halen Henry, Ashton Green, brothers Josh Brite and Nick Brite, Samantha Magnusson and half-sister Brandi Henry.

Andrew is preceded in death by his father Duane Henry, grandmother DeEtta Henry, and grandfather Preston Swisher.

Services will be held under the personal care and direction of Simpson Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024, 12:00-2pm at Simpson Funeral Home, followed by a Celebration of Life. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family in care of the Funeral Home.

The family encourages relatives and friends to visit www.simpsonfh.com to share photos and memories of Andrew. We know he'd love to see those candid shots of him mid-laugh or in the middle of a passionate debate about the latest pop hit.
