Michael Castleberry

Michael Sean Dayton Castleberry, age 50, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away at Cox-South in Springfield, Missouri, on August 1, 2024. He was born in Anaheim, California, to Dennis Farrell and Carmen "Sandy" Muhs on April 18, 1974. He was the son of Morris Castleberry.

Michael attended the University of Arkansas, where he received a Bachelor of Science with a focus on Computer Information Systems. He built a successful career as a quality systems manager at Ducommun Industries, as well as other companies, where he was highly regarded by his colleagues.








On August 30, 2009, Michael married Belinda Castleberry, who survives him. Their marriage was filled with love, laughter, and many shared adventures.

Michael had a zest for life and a wide range of interests. He loved entertaining friends and family, cooking and grilling, enjoying bonfires and firepits, shooting skeet, and pheasant hunting. Music was a significant part of his life, particularly 80's and 90's Rock and old-time country. An avid woodworker, Michael also enjoyed traveling, road trips, swimming, and kayaking.

A passionate sports fan, Michael loved watching the Razorbacks and playing golf. He took great joy in coaching and teaching his children, taking care of the farm, including the dogs and chickens, riding four-wheelers, and being in nature. His work friends and family were also dear to him.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Belinda Castleberry; his mother, Sandy Castleberry; his two sons, Brendan (Mackenzie) Castleberry and Brayden Castleberry; and his three daughters, Brooklyn Castleberry, Kathleen (Tyler) Kalista, and Paula (Dan) Pack. He also leaves behind his two brothers, Calvin (Kathy) Castleberry and Dale (Debra) Castleberry, and one sister, Sandy Sue (Larry) Castleberry. His legacy continues with his grandson, Baine Castleberry, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Steve and Linda Coones, sister-in-law Leslie (Brian) Hendrix, brother-in-law Michael (Carrie) Coones, brother-in-law Shawn Vanzandt, sister-in-law Katie Lennier and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.








Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, August 14, at 4 PM at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Neosho, Missouri, with Justin Clement officiating.

Michael's life was a testament to love, dedication, and the joy of simple pleasures. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will forever remain in our hearts.
